The Geological Society of Nevada (GSN) is hosting its 9th symposium in 40 years in 2027 near the scenic Reno, Lake Tahoe region of northern Nevada USA, and which is also home to the world known arts festival called Burning Man held in the salt flats of the Black Rock desert.
The GSN warmly invites its loyal and proud members, appreciated affiliates, respected government partners and local representatives, the supporting minerals industry, and distinguished University contributors to come join our next Geological Symposium April 2027 where passion for geology, mining and exploration will be showcased. Nevada is a top internationally recognized mining State ranked 2nd in the 2023 Annual Survey of Mining Companies conducted by the Frasers Institute. Nevada being one of the richest and highly endowed gold province States in the world, with its envied heap leach mineral resources and mine capability, and development plans to build significant lithium deposits for the battery industry in the near term.
Its’ all happening in Nevada, come and mingle with some world class Geoscientists and see for yourself what a top mining jurisdiction looks and feels like.
