Nevada continues to yield excellent new discoveries, even at<br \/>\npreviously mined sites and in geologic settings not previously considered prospective. This trip is<br \/>\ndesigned for seasoned \u201cCarlin\u201d geologists and those interested in the diversity of geologic settings of<br \/>\nthis important deposit type.<br \/>\nThe three-day field trip will leave Reno at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, and we will spend our<br \/>\nfirst evening in Elko. Peter Shabestari will give our evening presentation on Pilot Gold\u2019s Kinsley<br \/>\nProject. On Friday, May 22 we will depart Elko and drive to the Kinsley Project. After touring the<br \/>\nKinsley Project with Randy Hannink and other Pilot Gold geologists, we will drive to Wendover<br \/>\nwhere we will spend the night. We will make a few brief stops on the way to Wendover to observe<br \/>\ngeological points of interest. Once in Wendover, Jon Powell will be giving our evening presentation<br \/>\non Newmont\u2019s Long Canyon Project.
